We installed the DHCP-Redundancy and everything seems to work fine.
The only side effect we nog have is that the DHCP-Redundancy service is
taking alot of CPU power

DHCP-Redundancy-service.exe
Services.exe
wmiprvse.exe

Are taking 10% cpu each from our intel Xeon 2,66GHz. Is this normal ?

It sounds a bit high, the DHCP-Redundancy-service.exe should be 0% most of the time (when it not is switching to or from redundant mode).

Is the redundancy function working ok?

the DHCP-Redundancy-service seems to work oke.
Could there be a problem that the main dhcp server is a windows 2008 x64 dhcp server and the secondairy server is an windows 2003 x86 dhcp server ?

Should not be any problem with different server versions. Havent heard of anyone else having this problem. Do you have any other service on the server that could conflict with the DHCP-Redundancy?
