Small issue/enhancement request

We've been running the software for 2 years and so far we have never needed it to be used, though it's nice to have the safety net there.

However on Thursday night during the backup, the DHCP service hung while stopping for reasons unknown.
The DHCP service was not working, but because the backup was in progress, the redundancy server didn't kick in.

The reason for DHCP hanging while shutting down is nothing to do with your software, but is it possible to have a configurable timeout so that even during a backup the redundancy software will still kick in if the backup process goes on for too long? An E-mail alert to go with it would probably be useful too.

Other than that, the software has been perfect and has certainly saved me an enormous amount of grief splitting scopes and sorting out reservations, etc.

Today we managed to identify the cause of our original issue.
We had printer 1 set with a static IP, and this same IP set as a reservation on DHCP for printer 2.

If Printer1 was switched on first, and then Printer2 switched on, a cycle of DHCP requests and NAK's started, we found that our network was working flat out to service them, and our DHCP server was using 10% of a 100Mb link, but still able to service requests.

Unsurprisingly, when the backup ran, the DHCP service hung while shutting down leading to an outage.

The feature request would still be useful for those one in a million events like the server crashing mid-backup etc, and of course for human error.
